AI tools for financial advisers in the UK

Six jobs, six apps

Six jobs AI can take off an adviser's desk.

Each app does one job properly and is licensed on its own, so a firm can start with the work that hurts most and add the rest later.

1

Evidence you can check

Findings quote the file and name the FCA rule they engage. Scores are made against versioned, dated standards, so you can always say which one applied.

2

The adviser stays responsible

None of the apps gives advice. They read, count, compare and draft, flag judgement-based sections for a person, and the adviser signs everything that goes to a client.

3

Your data, your account

Each app runs signed in to your firm's own Claude account, under your agreement with Anthropic. Commercial accounts are not used to train models.

The time it gives back

Questions

Questions about AI for financial advisers.

Can financial advisers in the UK use AI?
Yes. The FCA describes itself as technology-agnostic, principles-based and outcomes-focused, so the usual rules apply: the firm stays responsible for its advice and for everything sent to a client. That is why the ifatools.ai apps do the mechanical work (reading, counting, comparing and drafting) and flag judgement-based sections for the adviser, who signs everything that goes to a client.
Does AI give financial advice?
No. The apps do the mechanical work and hand the result to a professional. Judgement-based sections are clearly flagged for the adviser, and the adviser signs everything that goes to a client.
Where does client data go when advisers use these AI tools?
Each app runs signed in to your firm's own Claude account, so processing happens under your agreement with Anthropic. Commercial accounts are not used to train models, and the apps work on your existing file structure, so there's no separate document store to maintain.
What does an advice firm need to run the apps?
A Claude account for the firm, and, for the meeting-based apps (Asclto, Freeboard and Carbon), a Fireflies account for recordings and transcripts. Scrutineer and Strata work straight off the folders and platform PDFs you already have.
Will AI replace paraplanners or compliance staff?
No. The apps take on the reading, counting, comparing and drafting, so paraplanners, compliance managers and advisers can spend their time on judgement and clients. Paraplanners and admin staff use the apps free on a firm's licence.
How much do AI tools for financial advisers cost?
Each ifatools.ai app is licensed per adviser per month, from £49. The full suite of six apps is £299 per adviser per month instead of £434 bought separately. Billing is monthly, you can cancel any time, and prices exclude VAT.
Is ifatools.ai suitable for IFAs and smaller advice firms?
Yes. Every app is licensed on its own, per adviser, so a firm can start with the one job that hurts most, usually Scrutineer or Strata, and add more later. Networks and firms with ten or more advisers can talk to us about volume terms.
