The problem

You didn't train
for this.

UK advisers spend a third of their day with clients and nearly 40% of it on report preparation, compliance and admin.1 Work no client pays for and no regulator lets you skip. If any of these sound like your Tuesday, keep reading.

  • You re-key the same figures from valuations into every annual review
  • You hunt through a client folder for the one document the file check needs
  • You write the twentieth discovery note of the year from the same template
  • Your file checks take so long that you review a sample and hope about the rest
  • You record every meeting for compliance and nobody ever listens back
  • The clients paying for all of it get whatever time is left
The cost you can see 0 hours

Per adviser, per month, on reading, checking and drafting that no client pays for. Twelve working weeks a year.

The cost you can't Every file you didn't review

When a file check takes half a day, firms check a sample. The risk in the rest of the back book is real, unmeasured, and yours. Half a day a file is not just slow. It is why nobody looks.

Forty hours a month. Twelve working weeks a year.

That is what the six jobs below cost each adviser, by our estimate. It is a conservative one: industry research puts report and admin work closer to sixty hours a month.1 Click a block to see one task, then switch the toggle to see what's left when the apps do the reading and drafting.

The solution

The meeting feeds the paperwork.
The paperwork feeds the file.

Each step of the client year has an app, and each app works from what the step before it produced. Nothing is re-keyed.

Six jobs, six apps

Pick the job.
See what changes.

Each app takes one piece of unpaid work. Start with the job you lose the most time to.

How it works

Nothing new to learn.
Nothing new to integrate.

Every app works the same way, with the documents and recordings your firm already produces.

1

Drop in what you already have

A client folder, a platform valuation PDF, a recorded meeting. No new platform integration, no re-keying.

2

The app reads, checks and drafts

It reads every page, including scans. It scores against FCA rules and your own standard, and drafts the output in your firm's voice and branding.

3

You review, edit and sign off

Every figure links back to its source page. You edit inline and export to Word or PDF. Nothing reaches a client without an adviser's name on it.

Why this is different

Not a chatbot.

You've probably tried a general AI assistant on a client file. It writes fluently and you can't tell where anything came from. These apps are built the other way round.

A general AI assistant
  • Works from whatever you paste into a prompt
  • Writes a plausible answer with no reference to where it came from
  • Knows nothing of your firm's standard or the FCA Handbook unless you tell it each time
  • Treats a scanned PDF or a recording as a blank
  • Sends your client's data to whoever runs the model
ifatools
  • Reads the whole folder, every subfolder, every page, including scans
  • Quotes the passage and cites the page behind every finding and every figure
  • Scores against named FCA rules and your own file standard, and learns your benchmarks
  • Transcribes recordings on your device and reads scanned documents
  • Says so when it can't read something, rather than guessing
What changes

What you get back.

0hours back, per adviser, per month

More time with clients.

The repetitive reading and writing is done in minutes rather than hours. The time goes back to the work that creates value and justifies the fee.

0%of files reviewed, not a sample

Work with confidence.

Every finding tied to a named rule. Every figure traced to the page it came from. When the regulator or the compliance consultant asks, the evidence is already there.

0new platforms to migrate to

Everything connected.

The meeting feeds the documents. The documents feed the file. The file feeds the review. Each app works with what you already produce.

Proven where it counts

We built it for our own firm first.

Cervello Financial Planning is a UK Chartered firm with the same FCA obligations as yours. These apps have run its file checks, annual reviews and client paperwork since day one. The numbers below are ours.

0annual reviews drafted by Strata
0+adviser hours handed back since launch
100%of our own client files reviewed, not sampled

“We didn't set out to build software. We set out to stop sampling our own client files and hoping. When the first version reviewed a folder in minutes that used to take me an afternoon, other firms started asking for it.”

Where your client data goes.

Built by a Chartered firm that has to answer the same questions to the same regulator you do.

Meeting recordingsTranscribed on your device

Scrutineer transcribes recordings locally rather than sending audio to a third-party service.

Every numberTraced to its source

Strata cites the report and page for every figure it extracts. Scrutineer quotes the passage behind every finding. If it cannot read a folder in full, it says so.

JudgementThe adviser decides

The apps score, draft and flag. They do not give advice and nothing is sent to a client without an adviser reviewing and signing it.

ProvenanceBuilt inside Cervello Financial Planning

The apps were built to run the compliance and review work of a UK Chartered firm, and that firm uses them on its own client files every week.

Pricing

Less than two hours

The full suite is £299 per adviser per month. At a £150 charge-out rate it pays for itself in the first two hours it saves each month. Our estimate is that it saves around forty. Start with one app or take all six. Tick to build your own.

Questions firms ask first

Straight answers.

Who needs a seat?
Everyone at your firm who signs in to the apps, whether adviser, paraplanner or administrator. Each seat can be used on up to two computers. Add or remove seats from your account at any time.
Do I have to change platforms or re-key anything?
No. The apps work from the files you already produce: client folders, platform valuation PDFs and recorded meetings. Meeting apps connect to Fireflies; Carbon can also pull from Gmail and Google Forms.
Does the app give the advice?
No. It reads, scores, drafts and flags. The adviser reviews every output, edits it inline and signs it off before anything reaches a client.
What if it gets something wrong?
It will sometimes. That is why every finding quotes the passage it came from and every figure cites the report and page, so a wrong call takes seconds to spot and correct. The adviser signs off every output. Nothing is automated past that point.
How long does it take to set up?
Most firms are running their first file the same day. There is no platform integration: you drop in folders, PDFs and recordings you already have. Branding setup is included so every export carries your firm's identity from the first document.
What if it doesn't save us the time?
Then cancel. Billing is monthly with no minimum term. At a £150 charge-out rate the full suite costs two hours of adviser time a month; if it is not giving you more than that back, you should stop paying for it.
Can I try one app before committing to the suite?
Yes. Every app is available on its own, billed monthly, cancel any time. The suite becomes cheaper once you want four or more.
Who built this?
Cervello Financial Planning, a UK Chartered financial planning firm in Essex. The apps were built to run the firm's own compliance and review work and are used on its client files every week.
